Important COVID-19 update:

Hello artists, guests, and collaborators of ‘Hot Fun in the Summertime’,

It is with reluctant but conscientious hearts that we announce the indefinite postponement of ‘Hot Fun in the Summertime’. As we have continued to mull over the COVID considerations for this event, and take in new details about how COVID cases are showing up amongst other vaccinated folks within Seattle’s music scene, we believe that there is no longer a way for us and our partners to feel comfortable hosting this event at this moment in time. Though there are many other local music events that may be of equal or greater COVID risk, we could not in good conscience host ‘Hot Fun’ at this point in time.

We are so grateful to each and every one of you for being willing to help music, artists, and our community survive during this challenging time. We sincerely hope that this will not discourage folks from continuing to try to find creative ways to be in community with art, and we are still processing the reality that this event just wasn’t in the cards.

For attendees - your donations to the festival will be refunded. If for any reason you do not see a refund come through, please reach out to booking@generalmojos.com.

For artists, though this event does not have any financial backing other than the tickets that were to be sold, it is also not lost on us that you all have carved out time in your professional lives to be a part of this. We are not in a position to pay bands as the event intended to, but if you are in a spot of financial hardship because of this cancellation, please reach out to booking@generalmojos.com and we can chat.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that this has caused, and ask for your understanding and empathy for why we felt moved to make this decision.
